The Sea
The waves crash on the shore
As I ride the wave of life
I paddle through my day
Some days with such ease
While others like being in a rip
Pulling me down
Unable to control my path
Not knowing which way I will go
Or if I have a choice
I try to stand and take a ride
But I only fall
Unable to hold onto my board
Not having anything to cling to
Watching as the rip pulls me further down
Not being able to get back
I try to swim against it
Fighting for my life as I know it
But its too much I feel myself drowning
****
Then from the surf a hand appears
And its you
Youre here to save me
You lift me to safety
To share your ride
You pull me from my nightmare
You save me from drowning in my own sorrow
You ride the wave with me
Bringing me back to the shore
Allowing me to again be grounded
Now when the waves crash on the shore
I ride my wave of life
With you by my side
Keeping me a float

"Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Really nice piece

Reflexivos. Profundos como los mares que encharcan cuan inmensa sea la nostalgia de un ayer perdido, que en temporada de flores añejas, se abre en un letárgico suspiro... Nostalgia, flor de otoño...

Don't see what you have not done, but all that you have. If you are reading this, then you have done something for me and you will never know how much that means.
